  •  MORNING TRIP INTO MARTINA FRANCA
    • ​A visit to the local market in Martina Franca with a granita coffee experience. We will travel in the morning after our practice and be back for lunch.


  • HALF DAY TRIP TO GROTTAGLIE
    • A visit to the famous "Discrtict of Ceramics ” in Grottaglie where ceramicists settle up their studios and kilns in natural caves. You will have the opportunity to watch the artists work and have time for shopping for local gifts to bring home. This is a half day experience.


  • FULL DAY EXCURSION TO 3 FAMOUS VILLAGES IN PUGLIA
    • A full day excursions to the 3 famous villages.  We will visit Locorotondo, Polignano a Mare (on the cliff),  stopping by the Adriatic seaside for a swim, and finally go to Ostuni, the white town. Plus we will get to stop at a special ice cream place in Polignano or Ostuni.


  • FULL DAY EXCURSION TO LECCE, THE BAUXITE CAVES, AND THE IONIC SEASIDE
    • A full day excursion to visit to Lecce "the Florence of the South", then to the wonderful Bauxite caves, then to Otranto one of the most famous town in Salento on the Ionic seaside


  • ​PRIVATE MUSCIAL CONCERT AT LA ROSA
    • ​Enjoy a private music concert performed by local musicians on the last night of the retreat.

What to Expect

Retreat:  Spend 7 days and 6 nights in the quiet Puglia area of Italy.  Each day includes 1-2 yoga practice, ample time for rest, relaxation, or exploration.  


Accommodations:   Choose from single or double occupancy accommodations in beautifully appointed rooms.


Sustenance:  Included are two meals a day (brunch & dinner). Meals are based on PH alkaline diet with a wide variety of locally sourced products and organic ingredients, carefully selected among the freshest food of the agricultural region.  We will have a healthy food journey through the Italian culinary culture and heritage; traditional recipes and contemporary cuisine combined with lots of vegan, raw and gluten & dairy free dishes. Each meal is prepared with great thought and precision and dietary needs will be accommodated.


Travel:  Fly into Bari or Brindisi in Italy. Transportation from airport or train station is included.


Activities:  Included with the retreat pricing is a visit to the local market in Martina Franca;  a visit to the district of ceramics in Grottoglie; a musical experience hosted at La Rosa; a full day excursion to 3 of the most famous villages on the Adriatic Sea; and a full day excursion to Lecce, the Bauxite Caves and Otranto on the Ionic Sea. See below for more details on the outings. You are welcome to book more outings or enjoy the peace of the property.

About La Rosa Dei 4 Venti


La Rosa Dei 4 Venti is an ancient Masseria (farmhouse) dating from the year 1689 renovated with the aim of bringing it back to its timeless beauty. The Masseria is typical of the southern Italian farmhouses, particularly in Puglia, built between the medieval period and the 17th century. It takes its name from the term “masserizie” (furniture and farm tools used for storage by farmers and shepherds, and for housing food, people and animals) and is a collection of farm buildings used for agricultural holdings.  The property is located in the heart of the Itria Valley, about 10km from Martina Franca, dotted with characteristic trulli, the typical peasant houses with the cone-shaped dome.  It is also 450 meters above sea level and midway between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas and the perfect home base for exploration or relaxation. 

Experience Southern Italy like a local.  Join Morgan for 6 nights and 7 days in the Puglia region of Italy. This retreat center will allow you to reset and recharge.  All of the excursions have been curated by a local.  This region of Italy is less touristy than some other areas and will allow for a completely different experience.

You will be required to sign a photo release form and liability waiver prior to the start date of the retreat.  This will be emailed to you approximately one month before the retreat start date and must be signed and emailed back.

  • FOR THE PUGLIA RETREAT, THE CANCELLATION WINDOW CLOSES FEBRUARY 1, 2024.  IF YOU CANCEL PRIOR TO FEBRUARY, ANYTHING PAID UP TO THAT POINT CAN BE ROLLED OVER INTO A FUTURE RETREAT TO BE USED WITHIN 2 YEARS OF CANCELLATION DATE. AFTER FEBRUARY 1ST  PAYMENTS ARE FOREFEITED.
  • RESERVATION MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER GUEST IF WE ARE NOTIFIED BY MAY 1, 2024.
  • YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE FORM AND LIABILITY WAIVER PRIOR TO THE START DATE OF THE RETREAT.  THIS WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH BEFORE THE RETREAT START DATE AND MUST BE SIGNED AND EMAILED BACK.
